Hippy pants are a looser, 'harem pants' style with a stretchy waistband and plenty of bum room. A fitted ankle cuff means that legs can be scrunched up at first then pulled down as the child grows, meaning they are very long lasting. These are my favourite style for babies and cloth nappy wearers, although older kids really suit the hippy style too.
 
Jazzy leggings offer a more fitted style, but the super stretchy jersey fabric means they are soooo comfy with plenty of room to grow. They have a turn up cuff which helps them last on growing legs.
