About Us

Hello! I'm Kirsty, the one woman show behind Simpson + C! We create handmade children's clothing with a focus on bold colour blocking and fun prints. Our collection is inspired by my love of 90s kids clothes. Every item you purchase will be handmade with care by me from my home in Musselburgh, Scotland.

I have put a lot of thought in to all of my products to ensure they deliver long lasting comfort and safety to our little wearers. All of my fabrics are organic or OEKO-TEX 100 standard (certified free of harmful chemicals). All exposed seams are overlocked with rainbow thread for durability and an extra splash of colour. Where snap fasteners are required, I only use quality Prym brand snaps, appropriate for the material type and interfaced internally for maximum durability. We use low waste practices when creating our clothing- wherever possible scraps are used for small accessories and pockets, or passed on to other crafters.
